Javier Contreras

Javier Contreras has a strong background in legal and compliance roles. Javier started their career as a Legal Intern at KPMG in 2006, where they focused on areas such as Procedimientos concursales and Due Diligence. Javier then joined Deloitte in 2007 as a Senior Lawyer, specializing in Fusiones y Adquisiciones de sociedades, Contratación Mercantil, Derecho Societario, and Due Diligence. In 2013, they moved to Applus+ IDIADA, initially working as an In-house Lawyer before progressing to the positions of Legal Manager & Divisional Compliance Officer and finally becoming the Head of Legal & Compliance.

Javier Contreras earned a Master's degree in International Law from Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) in 2006-2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Law at Universitat de Barcelona from 2000 to 2005.
