Lukasz Slimak

Lukasz Slimak is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in safety engineering and process engineering. Currently serving as a Safety Engineering Consultant for Northvolt on a Gigafactory expansion project, Lukasz is responsible for the preparation and facilitation of HAZID and HAZOP reviews. Prior to this role, Lukasz held the position of Senior Technical Safety Engineer at ApplyPoland, where responsibilities included hazard identifications and safety/risk review facilitation. Previous experience includes working as a Process Engineer at CH2M HILL and Katalizator Sp. z o.o., focusing on energy and mass balances, hydraulic calculations, and mechanical start-up of advanced oxidation technologies. Lukasz holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering and has pursued further education at several prestigious institutions, including Gdansk University of Technology and the Central Mining Institute.
