Roman Maliushkin

Roman Maliushkin is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Head of Data at Appodeal since April 2022. Previously, Roman held positions as Data Team Lead and Senior Data Engineer at BidMachine, where responsibilities included building and maintaining data infrastructure for business intelligence systems. Roman's earlier experience includes leading a team of Data Quality Engineers at X5 Group, focusing on HR sector data practices, as well as a role as a Data Quality Engineer for the HR product Clue. Roman began a research career as a Research Fellow at the European University at St. Petersburg and worked as an Engineer at ITMO University. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, both from ITMO University. Expertise extends to Python, PySpark, SQL, and multiple data management tools.
