Jason Knisley

Jason Knisley has extensive work experience in the technology industry, having worked for multiple companies in different roles. Jason started their career at Center for Partnerships in GIS as a Senior GIS Applications Developer, where they led the development of various local and state government contracts using ESRI's ArcGIS technology stack, combined with Leaflet and Angular 1.x. Jason then worked as a Senior Geospatial Developer at Geographic Information Services, Inc., where they were the lead developer for a variety of federal government and military contracts leveraging ESRI's ArcGIS technology stack and developed Server Object Extensions (SOEs) to extend the functionality of ArcGIS Server.

In 2015, Jason Knisley joined Apto as a Software Development Manager, where they led the development of new web and hybrid mobile applications, leveraging Ionic 2+, Angular 2+, and Node.js and was a key contributor to Apto's managed package solution on Salesforce, using languages such as Apex, Visualforce, and Angular, and integrating with other products such as Real Capital Markets, Capdominus, Callidus, and NetSuite.

Jason Knisley then moved on to work for Slalom, where they held various roles, including Solution Architect, Solution Principal, and Senior Principal, from August 2018 to July 2021. At Slalom, they worked on numerous projects, and their responsibilities included working with clients to provide technology solutions and delivering technical designs, architectures, and strategies.

In July 2021, Jason Knisley joined Color as a Technical Lead Manager, where they were responsible for leading the technical efforts of a cross-functional team delivering product features, tested solutions, and deployment automation. Later, they were promoted to Engineering Manager, where they managed the engineering team's day-to-day operations and delivered high-quality software on time and budget. Jason was then promoted to Senior Engineering Manager before leaving the company in 2023.

Jason Knisley earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology from Purdue University in 2003. Jason later pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Computer Science from The University of Memphis from 2010-2011 and completed a Master of Business Administration program at the same university in 2012-2013. Additionally, Jason obtained multiple certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Jason also obtained the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification.
