Scott Wilson

Director at Appraisal Institute of Canada

Scott has over 22 years of extensive real estate experience, including 19 years in the appraisal industry. He has been the owner, manager and employee of businesses involved in real estate and appraisal. He currently works as a project manager with the Workforce Strategies Research Group at the School of Business Studies at the University of Prince Edward Island. Scott has an extensive volunteer background with the Appraisal Institute of Canada, including as a founding director of the PEI Provincial Association, and recently retired as President of AIC-PEI, which he held for four years. Furthermore, he has served six years on the Board of the PEI Real Estate Association and has chaired or directed several volunteer boards. He holds two degrees from the University of British Columbia in Urban Economics and earned his MBA as part of the first class of the University of Prince Edward Island in 2011.

Currently, Scott sits on the Executive Committee and the Insurance Advisory Committee, as Co-Chair of the Professional Practice Committee and Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee. He previously chaired the ad hoc Strategic Planning Committee.
