Rene Hermes

Rene is responsible for Apprenda’s EMEA operations including all go-to-market, client services, training, support, and team building activities. Rene brings over 20 years of international management experience to the team and has successfully supported several software organizations in their globalization strategy. He most recently served as the CMO of alphabet AG, a leader in enterprise architecture and IT portfolio management solutions. Prior to that, Rene held executive leadership positions with Genesys Telecommunications, Progress Software, and Cap Gemini in both Europe and the United States. He holds a degree in Management Information Systems from the Haagse Hogeschool in The Hague, The Netherlands.
