Ryan Thomas

SVP, Client Services at Apprenda

Ryan joined Apprenda from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) where he was most recently Head of Architecture and Technology Strategy. His teams led BAML to their next generation application design framework, implementation of Platform as a Service (PaaS), and adoption of agile software delivery. Prior to this role, Ryan led BAML’s infrastructure strategy. Before joining BAML, Ryan led Accenture’s IT service strategy practice, where he led senior IT consulting practitioners responsible for selling and managing IT strategy, operating models, and technology transformations. He is a contributor to ITILv3 Service Strategies book and one of four named authors of the ITILv3 Service Strategy Key Element Guide. Ryan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Philosophy from Carnegie Mellon University.
