Tom Bewick

Tom Bewick is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in skills and workforce policy, currently serving as a Visiting Professor at the University of Staffordshire and as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Apprenticeships for America. Bewick is the founder and Non-Executive Director of Atlantic Apprenticeships, which focuses on expanding quality apprenticeships in the UK and US. Previously, Bewick held leadership roles as Chief Executive of Ecctis Ltd and the Federation of Awarding Bodies, significantly influencing policy within the UK’s awarding and assessment sector. Additionally, contributions to local government include serving as a Council Member for Brighton & Hove City Council, where a successful employment and apprenticeship strategy was implemented. With a strong academic foundation in social policy from esteemed institutions, Bewick's career has been dedicated to bolstering apprenticeship frameworks and enhancing workforce skills on both sides of the Atlantic.
