Tarek Osman

Tarek Osman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in commercial leadership and innovation across various sectors. Currently serving as the Commercial Director and Co-founder at Appro.ae, Tarek focuses on enhancing retail banking onboarding processes. As a Co-Founder of TextYanzo, Tarek has developed an on-demand personal assistant service over WhatsApp. Previously, Tarek held the position of Commercial Lead at SC Ventures, where innovation and investment in fintech were prioritized. At Standard Chartered Bank, Tarek progressed through several roles, including Senior Manager for Performance Planning across multiple regions and various managerial positions in process design and planning. With a background in commercial development at Danone Dairy and engineering experience at Parknology Ltd, Tarek holds a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
