Bjorn Claes

Bjorn Claes has extensive work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity and project management. Bjorn most recently worked as an Internal CISO at Approach Cyber and as a CISO services consultant. Prior to that, they served as an Information Technology Security Officer at Honda Motor Europe Ltd. Before their time at Honda, they worked as an Analyst in information security at Nationale Bank van België. Bjorn also has experience as a Project Manager at Knocknock Indoor Navigation and as a Cyber Security Incident Responder during a student job at NBB. Additionally, they served as a Treasury Manager at CenEka, where they were responsible for financial and legal aspects. Bjorn gained further experience as an intern focusing on Governance, Risk, and Compliance at NBB. Furthermore, Bjorn worked as an Event Project Manager at Cent Limites.

Bjorn Claes completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science at Ghent University from 2014 to 2017. Bjorn then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science at Ghent University from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, they also obtained an extracurricular certification in French Studies from CLL Language Centres.
