Richard Taylor

Senior Technology Consultant at Approov

Richard Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Richard is currently the CTO & Co-Founder of Approov Mobile Security, where they originated the concept and led the development of Approov, an attestation solution for mobile apps. Richard was also the CTO & Co-Founder of CriticalBlue Prism, where they led the development of a software performance analysis tool. Prior to that, they were the CTO & Co-Founder of CriticalBlue Cascade, where they developed an EDA tool. Richard has also worked as the Non Executive Director at Positive Money, Chief Technical Officer at Torridon PLC, and Software Group Manager at Memory Corporation. Richard started their career as a Software Engineer at Edinburgh Portable Compilers Ltd, specializing in compiler development and optimization.

Richard Taylor completed their education from 1986 to 1990 at Imperial College London. During this time, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Software Engineering.
