Vadim Mikhnov-Vaitenko

Vadim Mikhnov-Vaitenko has worked in the design industry since 2009. Vadim started out as an Interface Designer for Infoservice-M in 2009, followed by a Web Designer role at StyLink in 2010. In 2010, they were also an Interface Designer for E-generator.ru (joint stock company). From 2011 to 2014, they were a Lead Designer at 1Forma, where they were responsible for interface design for the main product of the company, intranet web-based task-management and CRM software, as well as companion iOS apps. Vadim then worked as an Interface Designer for Avito from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they also held a Designer role at ZenGuard GmbH and a UI/UX Designer role at MoneyMap GmbH. From 2018 to 2021, Vadim was a Principal Design Systems Designer and Senior Product Designer at Babbel. Most recently, they have been a Lead Design Systems Designer at Preply since 2021.

Vadim Mikhnov-Vaitenko began their educational journey in 2002 when they attended Bauman Moscow State Technical University for two years, studying Computer Programming. In 2004, they transferred to the Russian State Social University to pursue a degree in Information Technology, which they completed in 2007. In 2015, they obtained a Level I certification from the Artem Gorbunov Design Bureau School in Information and Interface Design.
