Deepthi Karthikeyan

Deepthi Karthikeyan has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance. Deepthi started their career as a Software Engineer at Hexaware Technologies, where they worked for Citibank, Germany. At Hexaware Technologies, they conducted regression testing, analyzed results, and reported observations to the development team. Deepthi then moved on to work as a Consultant at Saksoft, where they collaborated with banking clients like Barclays and Citibank. In this role, they implemented new quality assurance and customer service standards and collaborated with developers and project managers to assess program capabilities and testing demands.

Afterwards, Deepthi joined Infosys as a Technical Test Lead. In this position, they worked on projects with retail giants like Nike, Nordstrom, Tesco, and Sears. At Infosys, they reviewed test cases and scripts for quality, completed automation of functional and regression testing, and ensured the quality of deliverables.

Later, Deepthi joined CSG as a QA Automation Engineer, where they utilized Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks like SpecFlow or Cucumber. Deepthi also enhanced their knowledge of Java and API tools by participating in various training and seminars. Deepthi reported integration issues and vulnerabilities to the leadership with recommendations for improvement.

Most recently, Deepthi joined Sitecore as a QA Automation Engineer. Here, they created automated API test cases using C# to reduce manual effort and developed a UI automation test suite using Selenium. Deepthi'sefforts in optimizing automation test scripts in C# led to a reduction in overall testing hours. Currently, Deepthi is serving as the Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Apptium Technologies, where they are leveraging their expertise to ensure the quality of software products.

Deepthi Karthikeyan holds a BTech degree in Electronics and Communication from Mahatma Gandhi University. In addition, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Deepthi is a Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from the Canadian Software Testing Board (CSTB), which they obtained in August 2019. Deepthi is also certified as an AIS-HP Quality center professional by Hewlett-Packard, achieved in March 2008.
