Vishal Ramesh

Vishal Ramesh has worked in various roles across multiple organizations. As of 2023, they are a Senior Test Engineer at Apptronik. In 2022, they worked as a TRAIL Engineer II at Rivian, where they designed and developed MATLAB models for bearing loads in a 2-stage gearbox. Prior to that, they completed a Capstone Project focused on electric vehicles at ENGIE Impact in 2021. Vishal also worked on a Human Centered Design Project focused on FPS gaming at HP in 2021, which won the best project award at the Jacob's Design Showcase. From 2018 to 2020, Vishal served as a Senior Customer Quality Engineer and Senior Special Projects Engineer at TVS Motor Company. Vishal began their career in 2015 as a Design Intern at Techniq Design Group. Vishal also completed multiple project internships while in college at Lucas TVS Ltd, Integral Coach Factory, and TVS Motor Company, and studied abroad as an exchange student at the University of North Texas.

Vishal Ramesh completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy between 2014 and 2018. In 2021-2022, they pursued their Master of Engineering degree in Product Design from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Vishal acquired various certifications in User Experience (UX) design and major engineering project performance from Coursera. Vishal completed their latest certification in Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD from Coursera in July 2020.
