Hyunghwan Byun

Hyunghwan Byun is a highly experienced design professional with a strong background in user experience and product design. Currently serving as Principal Designer at AppZen since May 2023 and as an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund since March 2024, Byun also founded sqncs studio in August 2022. Previous roles include a significant tenure as Senior User Experience Designer at Adobe, where notable contributions were made to multiple versions of Photoshop, and as Interaction Designer at Seerflix Inc., where user engagement and efficiency improved through innovative designs. Byun has also held positions at Carnegie Mellon University as an Experience Designer and Teaching Assistant, and has experience in educational content development. Educational credentials include a Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree from Yonsei University.
