Damon Tohill has a wide range of experience in engineering and construction roles. Damon is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering & Construction at APR Energy. Prior to this, they worked at The AES Corporation, where they held various positions such as Global Director Integrated EPC, Director of Construction PMO and Risks E&C South America, Director of Market Development Andes SBU, Engineering Manager for AES-VCM Mong Duong II, Site Manager and Quality Manager for Electrica Angamos, Project Manager for AES Latin America, and Team Leader/Performance Engineer at AES Hawaii. Before joining The AES Corporation, Damon worked as a Plant Engineer at Westar Energy and as a Mechanical Engineer at Black & Veatch. Damon'swork experience spans across different regions and includes responsibilities in project development, construction management, contract strategy, and team leadership.
Damon Tohill obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they pursued from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Business at Hawaii Pacific University, attending from 2007 to 2008. Damon also obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Applied Mathematics, from the same University of Colorado Boulder, during the same time period as their Mechanical Engineering degree.
