Clay Newton

Clay Newton is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leading user experience and design teams across various industries. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Design at apree health since March 2019, Clay has fostered a creative environment and guided design strategies. Previous positions include Director of User Research and Content Strategy at Expedia Group, where Clay directed the user experience design process and oversaw user research initiatives. Additional roles span creative direction, user experience management, and instruction in digital arts at institutions like General Assembly and Napa Valley College. Clay's earlier career includes significant contributions at Walmart eCommerce as a Sr. UX Architect and as a co-founder at Remarkd.com. Clay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of California, Davis.
