Valerie Barney

Valerie Barney, CPA, MSA, is an experienced tax professional currently serving as a Tax Manager at Aprio since February 2021. Prior to this role, Valerie worked as a Senior Tax Analyst at Novant Health from May 2013 to February 2021 and began their career as a Tax Associate at Rives & Associates, LLP from January 2011 to May 2013. Valerie holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business/Management, both from East Carolina University, with degrees completed in 2010 and 2009, respectively.
