Amy Cost has diverse work experience in various industries. Amy started their career in 2003 at Brethren Retirement Community, where they worked as a Payroll/Accounts Payable Clerk until 2004. In 2004, they joined APS Materials, Inc., initially as an Accounting/Human Resources Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of Corporate Administrative Support in 2018. Amy worked in this position until the present. In 2021, they took on roles at Tipp City Schools as a Substitute Teacher/Educational Aide and at Dayton Society of Natural History as the Lead Rentals Supervisor. The tenure for these roles is still ongoing.

Amy Cost has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Accounting from Wright State University. Amy also holds an Associate of Applied Business degree in Accounting from Edison State Community College. In addition, Amy has obtained a Short-Term Certificate in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Sinclair Community College. Amy has also achieved certifications such as a 1 Year Substitute Multi-Age PK-12 License from the State of Ohio Department of Education, and is a Notary Public certified by the State of Ohio.
