Vanessa Sinatti, PhD

Vanessa Sinatti, PhD has worked in the field of bioinformatics since 2018. Vanessa began their career at ISI Biossintéticos e Fibras as a Consultor Pesquisador (Bioinformata), where they conducted research in bioinformatics and analyzed data from next-generation sequencing (NGS) generated on the SENAI Institute of Innovation in Biossintéticos e Fibras platform. Vanessa also developed pipelines for automating bioinformatics analyses in Python and Bash (shell script). In 2022, they began working as Head of Bioinformatics at Aptah Biosciences.

Vanessa Sinatti, PhD completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences (Genetics Modality) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2011. Vanessa then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at FIOCRUZ - Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, which they completed in 2013. In 2017, they obtained their Doctorate in Computational Biology and Systems from FIOCRUZ - Fundação Oswaldo Cruz.
