Modupe Ajayi. Ph.D.

Modupe Ajayi Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. In 2011, they began their career as an Assistant Lecturer at Adekunle Ajasin University. In 2013, they moved to the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology as a Research Postgraduate Student. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds. In 2020, they joined Abingdon Health plc as an R&D Scientist and Senior R&D Scientist. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Senior Assay Development Scientist at Aptamer Group.

Modupe Ajayi has a diverse educational background. In 2003, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry from Adekunle Ajasin University. Modupe then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Bioscience (Biotechnology) from the University of Leeds in 2010-2011. In 2013-2017, Modupe Ajayi completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from the University of Leeds. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, such as Improving Your Listening Skills from LinkedIn in May 2020, Cert Prep: PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner from LinkedIn in April 2020, and Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy from the Higher Education Academy in June 2019.
