Marc Ribó

Marc is an Assistant Professor in the Stroke Unit at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron, focusing on cerebrovascular diseases with a special interest in the acute phase of ischemic stroke and promoting systemic or endovascular reperfusion treatments. His research activity in the acute phase of stroke includes a focus on the design of clinical trials and research projects. Marc has over 200 peer-reviewed publications. His research activities also include the development of telemedicine solutions to increase and accelerate access to the best therapies for all acute stroke patients. Marc holds a neurology degree from the Hospital Vall d’Hebron, a PhD in Medicine at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, and conducted a Stroke Fellowship at the University of Texas Houston.
