Emir Bukva

Emir Bukva has more than a decade of experience in the field of design. Emir is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at aptihealth, where they have established a design system and migrated tooling from XD to Figma. In their role, Emir has designed flows for real-time insurance coverage checks, payments, and mental health assessments for patients, as well as clinical reports for providers.

Prior to their current role, Emir worked at Wayfair as a Senior Experience Design Manager. Earlier in their career, Emir worked as an Instructor of Graphic Design at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where they taught a range of undergraduate courses and was involved in committee work and academic advising.
