Laura Marvin

Laura Marvin, LMHC, has been working in the behavioral health field since 2011. Laura began their career as a Direct Support Professional at Pine Ridge Industries | Schenectady ARC in 2011. In 2012, they interned at GiGi's Playhouse Inc.- Down Syndrome Achievement Centers. From 2013 to 2014, they held multiple roles at The College of Saint Rose, Saratoga Bridges, NYSARC, Inc., Saratoga County Chapter, and Conifer Park Inpatient Rehabilitation. In 2017, they worked as a Behavioral Health Consultant at Community Care Physicians, P.C. and a Therapist at ECS Psychological Svc. Most recently, they have been working as a Behavioral Health Specialist at aptihealth, inc. since 2021.

Laura Marvin, LMHC, completed their Master of Science (MS) in Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose in 2015. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Le Moyne College in 2013. Laura graduated from Shenendehowa High School in 2009. In addition, they hold a Licensed Mental Health Counselor certification from New York State, obtained in August 2017, a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy Certification from the Medical University of South Carolina obtained in February 2014, and an Autism Spectrum Disorders Training obtained in June 2010.
