Michelle Woronowski, LCSW has been working in the field of social work since 2009. Michelle began their career as a Student Intern/Volunteer at the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, where they worked with children and families served through the Care at Home Program and the Workplace and Domestic Violence Prevention Program. In 2010, they worked as a Needs Assessment Specialist at the Epilepsy Association of WNY and as a Behavioral Science Intern at the Veterans Health Administration. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Mental Health Professional at Beacon Light Behavioral Heath Systems and as a Residential Social Worker and Permanency Planner at Gateway Longview. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as an Intake Coordinator and Mental Health Clinical Therapist at Genesee County Mental Health. Currently, they are employed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Presence Counseling Services, and recently began a new role as a Behavioral Health Specialist at aptihealth.

Michelle Woronowski, LCSW, completed their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology Major with Psychology and Political Science Minors from Wells College in 2006. In 2008, they earned a Paralegal Certificate from Columbia State Community College- Columbia, TN in Paralegal Studies. Michelle then went on to obtain their Master of Social Work from University at Buffalo in 2011.
