Samantha Lynk

Samantha Lynk, LMHC, has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health. Samantha'smost recent position is as a Mental Health Counselor at aptihealth, which they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Step One Outpatient Substance Abuse Clinic as a Primary Therapist/Intake Specialist, where they conducted group and individual therapy sessions for clients struggling with addiction. Samantha also served as a Graduate Intern at the same clinic, during which they demonstrated counseling skills, educated clients on coping skills, and consulted with other clinicians on client cases. In 2021, Samantha was the Clinical Director at Step One. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Assistant at SUNY New Paltz and gained experience as a Child Care Lead at Rocking Horse Ranch Resort. Samantha's early work experience includes being a Graduate Trainee at the SUNY New Paltz Psychological Counseling Center and a Graduate Trainee at the SUNY New Paltz Career Resource Center.

Samantha Lynk, LMHC, completed their education in a progressive manner, starting with their most recent degree and working backward. Samantha achieved a Master of Arts (MA) in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from SUNY New Paltz, graduating in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz, completing their studies in 2012. Samantha began their collegiate journey at Dutchess Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Visual and Performing Arts, graduating in 2010.
