Robert Mitchell

Robert Mitchell is a Research Scientist in Discovery at Aptinyx Inc. since 2016, focusing on mechanisms of action in discovery science. Previously, Robert served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development from 2011 to 2016, researching excitatory drive onto GABAergic interneurons under the mentorship of Dr. [Last Name]. Additionally, Robert was a part-time faculty member at Loyola University Chicago Lake Shore Campus, where instruction included a neuroscience laboratory course from 2007 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry/Neuroscience from Loyola University Medical School and a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology from Northern Illinois University.
