Denise Lorenz has extensive experience in community engagement and support for individuals with disabilities. Currently a retired volunteer coordinator and orientation trainer with Aptiv since October 2016, Denise previously served as a community engagement specialist and HR recruiter at Viterbo University, where responsibilities included coordinating internships and service learning opportunities. With a foundational career at Western Technical College as the DisAbility Support Specialist Program Head and instructor, Denise taught various classes related to disabilities and oversaw strategic planning and curriculum development. Earlier roles included staff training and leadership at Riverfront, Inc., focusing on employee orientation and support strategies. Denise holds a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
