Matthew Kardel is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in automotive technology and strategic roles. Currently serving as Vice President and Managing Director of Advanced Safety & User Experience for North America at Aptiv since December 2017, Matthew has also held multiple leadership positions within Aptiv, including President of Connected Services and Vice President of Strategy & Partnerships for Autonomous Mobility. In addition to Aptiv, Matthew is Chairman of the Board for Movimento and serves as an Advisory Board Member for Innovare Mariculture Development. Prior experiences include leading autonomous driving initiatives at Delphi and strategic roles at Severstal NA and The Boston Consulting Group. Matthew holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BS in Physics from Eastern Michigan University.
