Erin Wong

Erin Wong has worked in the tech industry since 2010. Erin started their career as a Professional Trainee and Technical Specialist at Southern California Edison. In 2017, they joined Raytheon as a Software Engineer. During their time at Raytheon, they developed and tested code in C++, Java, Python, and MATLAB, improved MIDAS retrieval speed by 30%, merged team's code from Git repositories, created a web interface using web2py, and converted a shared Excel spreadsheet into a SQLite database with a web interface using PHP and JavaScript. In 2018, they moved to Virtru as a Full Stack Engineer. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Xandr from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are a Senior Backend Engineer at Apto Payments.

Erin Wong completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science at the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Pittsford Sutherland High School from 2003 to 2007.
