IT Network Admin:

Network and IT infrastructure Administrator. The role will focus on network administration in addition to assisting with support and maintenance of IT infrastructure and server systems. This includes firewalls, network equipment, servers, desktops, software applications, backup systems, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage IT Network as well as infrastructure.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problem, analyze root cause.
  • Administer, configure, and manage company firewalls.
  • Design and implement network changes, internally as well as with third parties.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network hardware, and software.
  • Coordinate network change and maintenance activities with external vendors and customers.
  • Secure network by establishing and enforcing security policies.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network performance problems and outages.
  • Develop and implement network disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
  • Coordinate and communicate issue resolution with stakeholders.
  • Maintain network diagrams and configuration documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and be available for system support outside of normal business hours.
  • Assist team with maintenance and support of servers, desktops, software applications, backup systems, and other IT infrastructure.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent education and experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in network and systems administration.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in using Fortinet Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer to manage and troubleshoot a global network.
  • Experience of Fortinet FortiClientEMS, FortiAuthenticator, including RADIUS and LDAP integration with Active Directory.
  • General understanding of routing protocols, site-to-site VPN, VLAN, Wi-Fi and concepts with Fortinet and Cisco platforms.
  • CCNP and CCNA, Fortinet, or similar certification preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking hardware and infrastructure.
  • Extensive knowledge with routing protocols including OSPF, and BGP.
  • Experience managing SDWAN, MPLS, IPSec VPN encryption.
  • Expert knowledge TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, operation systems and applications data flows.
  • Expertise in firewall platforms, network security such as AV, IPS, DLP.
  • Hands-on experience supporting in 24x7 enterprise environments.
  • Troubleshooting and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Hands on experience with maintenance and support of servers, desktops, software applications, backup systems, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent technical and project management skills combined with strong communication skills.
