Nawazish Khan, MD, MS has a diverse work experience in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals. Nawazish currently serves as the Sr. Medical Director of Clinical Development at Aptose Biosciences, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a freelance pharmaceutical clinical product consultant. Dr. Khan has also held positions at Loma Linda University Medical Center and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where they worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist respectively. Nawazish has also served as the Medical Director of Cancer Center & Chemotherapy Center at Providence and chaired the Commission on Cancer Committee. Additionally, Dr. Khan has held roles at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Nawazish has a background in nutrition and has worked as a Nutrition Consultant, Author, and Speaker.

Nawazish Khan, MD, MS has an extensive education history. Nawazish began their educational journey at Punjab Medical College from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Nawazish then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist from 2001 to 2003 at East Carolina University.

Dr. Khan continued their education at East Carolina University and completed a Residency in Internal Medicine from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they embarked on a Fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at Loma Linda University, starting in 2012, which they are still currently undertaking. To further expand their knowledge and skills, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from East Carolina University in 2010.
