James Carkido

James Carkido has a diverse professional background that includes roles in education, software development, and production. Currently, James serves in a CS/Production role at APV Engineered Coatings, Inc. since May 2021. Previously, James worked as a Junior Developer at Onosys, focusing on UI/UX development, and completed a Java Bootcamp at Tech Elevator where a wrestling match manager application and a virtual vending machine were developed. Prior experience in education includes serving as a high school social studies teacher at Lockland City School District and as a long-term substitute teacher in Columbiana Exempted Village SD. James holds a Bachelor of Education in History and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Youngstown State University.
