Louis Okon has a diverse work experience, starting in 2018. Louis began as a Researcher at Pioneer Academics, where they conducted research on electoral processes in Nigeria and Ghana. Louis then took on the role of Director-General at the African Leadership Academy Model African Union, overseeing multiple departments and ensuring project timelines were met. In 2020, they worked as a Personal Assistant to the Governor in the Cross River State Government, specializing in technical data management. In 2021, Louis participated in the UBS Tomorrow's Talent Program. In 2022, they had roles as a Student Consultant at Bridging the Gap (BTG), an AQR Early Engagement Diversity Summit Participant at AQR Capital Management, and an Executive Vice President at the Interfraternity Council at Centre College. Additionally, they worked as a Venture Associate at VU Venture Partners and served as an Ambassador for the Global Citizens Initiative (GCI). Louis is currently working as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst at Bank of America.

Louis Okon began their education at Surefoot International School, where they obtained a West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations in Social Sciences from 2008 to 2017. Louis then attended the African Leadership Academy from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Diploma in African Studies and Entrepreneurial Leadership.

In 2021, Louis Okon enrolled at Centre College, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Finance. Louis is expected to complete their degree in 2025. In 2022, they briefly attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth for the Business Bridge Program.

Outside of their formal education, Louis Okon obtained a Non-Profit Certificate from EVkids through Paragon One in March 2023.
