Ning Sun has extensive work experience in the financial industry. They started their career as an intern at Wilmington Trust in 2010, where they worked in portfolio management. In 2011, they interned at State Street, specifically in the portfolio and risk management group. They then joined Brownson, Rehmus & Foxworth as an analyst in wealth management for a short period in 2012.
Later in 2012, Ning Sun joined State Street Associates, initially as part of the Professional Development Program (PDP) and later in the portfolio and risk management group. In 2013, they transitioned to BlackRock as a rates researcher in model-based fixed income and stayed until 2015.
Since 2015, Ning Sun has been working at AQR Capital Management as a quantitative researcher, focusing on commodities.
Ning Sun holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Peking University. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Chemistry from Stanford University, which they completed in 2010. From 2010 to 2011, Ning enrolled in the Boston College Carroll School of Management to obtain a Master's Degree in Finance.
