Cecilia Bruun Jensen

Cecilia Bruun Jensen has a diverse work experience with a strong background in finance and accounting. Cecilia started their career as a Kontorassistent at M.M.M. Trading A/S in 1999. Cecilia then worked as a Revisor at PwC from 2001 to 2003 and later at Grant Thornton in 2003 as well. From 2004 to 2007, they served as a Regnskabsassistent at Paustian A/S.

Cecilia then joined Deloitte in 2007 as an Exp. Consultant, where they handled tasks related to financial management, project management, and process optimization. Cecilia worked on various responsibilities such as managing financial functions for small and medium-sized businesses, transitioning the financial function to an external partner, budgeting for public and private companies, and conducting financial reporting. Cecilia was also involved in monthly and quarterly closing, reconciliation, and preparing PBC (Prepared By Client) material for year-end audits.

Later, they worked as a Regnskabschef/Finance Manager with medarbejderansvar for four employees at Paustian A/S from 2009 to 2012. Cecilia then served as a Regnskabschef/Finance Manager at Hetland Nordic A/S from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Cecilia worked as a Financial Controller with Xellia Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for controlling four companies. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Financial Controller at Professionshøjskolen Metropol | Metropolitan University College, where they handled tasks related to controlling, process optimization, analysis, and budgeting.

Cecilia'smost recent role was as the Chief Accountant at Aquaporin A/S, where they started in 2016 and is currently working.

Cecilia Bruun Jensen began their education in 1995 at N. Zahles, where they obtained their studenter eksamen in 1997. Cecilia then pursued a 1-year HH program at Lyngby Uddannelsescenter from 2000-2001. Continuing their education, Cecilia enrolled at Copenhagen Business School and completed their HD (R) degree in Regnskab og økonomistyring from 2001-2005. Later, they studied at the same institution and obtained their Cand.merc.aud degree from 2007-2009.
