Sylvain Barjon has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Sylvain started their career as a Process Engineer in the Dairy Industry at Groupe SAVENCIA in 2004 and worked there until 2009. Sylvain then took on the role of Project Manager for the construction of a Biogas production site at Ferme de La Tremblaye from 2009 to 2012.
In 2013, Sylvain joined Groupe SAVENCIA again, this time as the Manager of the Technological and Process Engineering team. Sylvain successfully managed a team of 8 individuals and supported the development of innovative concepts within the Food Industry. Sylvain also took on a management project for the development of proprietary production processes. Sylvain held this position until 2016.
From 2018 to 2021, Sylvain served as the Pilot Plant Manager at the Department of Food Science, University of Copenhagen. Sylvain was responsible for overseeing the operations of the pilot plant and ensuring its smooth functioning.
In 2021, Sylvain joined Chr. Hansen as a Senior Bio-Process Engineer and worked there until 2023. Sylvain played a key role in the development of bio-processes and contributed to the company's success.
Currently, Sylvain is working at Aquaporin A/S as an Application Process Engineer, starting in 2023.
From 2000 to 2003, Sylvain Barjon attended the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, where they obtained a Master's degree in Process Engineering applied to Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law.
