Emma Goodwin has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2022. Emma started at Supermac's in 2015 as a Manager, Barista, and Cashier, quickly being promoted to Floor Manager. In 2016, Emma worked as a Computer Modelling Research Intern at Dublin City University, creating simulations of relativistic particles. Emma continued their research at the university in 2017 as a Student Computer Modelling Researcher, focusing on creating a computer program to simulate a spacecraft's trajectory to the Moon. Emma gained further experience in customer service as a Steward at Aviva Stadium from 2016 to 2017. In 2019, they worked as a Retail Supervisor at SPAR Ireland. Most recently, Emma joined Data Intellect in 2022 as a kdb+ Developer.

Emma Goodwin received their Master's degree in Computational Science from Uppsala University, completing their studies from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Dublin City University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in Physics and Astronomy. Emma also attended Dundalk Grammar School from 2008 to 2014 and obtained a Leaving Certificate. Along with their academic qualifications, they have earned several certifications, including "PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer" from the Python Institute in May 2023, "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft in January 2023, "Python Libraries for Data Science" from Simplilearn in July 2022, "Deep Learning with Tensorflow" from Simplilearn in April 2019, and "ECDL" from ECDL Ireland in September 2012.
