Dr. Aras Mirfendreski

Dr. Aras Mirfendreski has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Dr. Aras currently serves as the Managing Director and CTO at Aquarius Engines, where they focus on propelling the telco industry forward with green generators and fueling the rise of EV-charging stations. Dr. Aras also navigates global supply chains for innovative fuel strategies to reduce the company's global greenhouse gas footprint. Prior to this role, Dr. Mirfendreski worked as the Managing Director and VP R&D at Aquarius Engines, where they crafted a seamless organizational structure and led a unified global workforce.

Before joining Aquarius Engines, Dr. Mirfendreski worked at TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe as a Senior Program Manager R&D. In this role, they spearheaded powertrain development programs for Toyota series production vehicles with a significant budget responsibility. Dr. Aras mastered finance planning, budget management, and end-to-end project management.

Dr. Mirfendreski's career began at AUDI AG, where they worked as a PhD Candidate. Dr. Aras pioneered real-time model environments using the Fast Fourier Synthesis method, which significantly enhanced the speed and dynamic representation of engine behavior simulations.

Additionally, Dr. Mirfendreski gained experience as a Simulation Engineer at FKFS - Forschungsinstitut für Kraftfahrwesen und Fahrzeugmotoren Stuttgart, and completed their Diploma Thesis at MAN Truck & Bus AG.

Dr. Aras Mirfendreski completed their undergraduate studies at RWTH Aachen University from 2004 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Aras then pursued a PhD in Automotive Engineering at the University of Stuttgart. Additionally, they spent a period from 2009 to 2010 studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Davis.
