Carmen Mihaela Chirilas

Carmen Mihaela Chirilas is an experienced professional in the fields of chemical technology and education, currently serving as a Chemical Technologist specializing in Drinking Water Treatment Processes at Aquaserv since November 2019. Prior roles include Professor of Chemistry at the National College "Alexandru Papiu Ilarian" and Executive Managing Director in a wood processing and furniture production company. Carmen has an extensive academic background, holding a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and Environmental Protection from "Politehnica" University of Bucharest, as well as a postgraduate degree in Psychology of Education. Additional experience includes positions as Assistant Professor at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and project engineer at the Institute for Nuclear Energy Projects, contributing to significant projects in nuclear energy and advanced materials research.
