Edward Betts is an experienced professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as the Business Unit Leader for Platforms and Project Manager in the Structures division at Aquaterra Energy since August 2018. Prior roles include Senior Commissioning Engineer on a contract basis at Bear Project Solutions and Project Engineer at Proeon Systems Ltd., where Edward was involved in the design and commissioning of Safety Instrumented Systems for a chemical production plant. Edward has also held key positions at ENGIE E&P as Cygnus Bravo HUC Manager, SNC-Lavalin as Lead Automation Engineer for the Emirates Aluminium Smelter Complex, and Perenco, overseeing engineering FEED and control system migration for offshore gas platforms. Additionally, Edward worked at Bayer CropScience on medium to large-scale projects, managing the project lifecycle from conceptual design to commissioning.
