Niraj Patel

Niraj Patel has a wealth of experience in the legal and financial industries. Niraj began their career in 1998 as an Analyst at Accenture, followed by a role as an Analyst at One, Inc. in 1999. In the same year, they took on a Technical Lead - IT Architecture role at FrontRange Solutions. In 2007, they joined Sidley Austin LLP as an Associate in the firm's Chicago office and a member of Sidley's Investment Funds, Advisers and Derivatives practice team. Niraj'spractice focused on private alternative investment funds. In 2014, they founded Nivesa Law, a law firm that provided legal expertise to hedge fund managers and other alternative investment manager clients. Niraj also served as a Principal at ghSMART, where they advised clients on their most important leadership challenges. In 2016, they became Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Wolverine Asset Management, LLC. Niraj currently serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Aquatic Capital Management.

Niraj Patel received their JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2007, having studied Business Law. Niraj obtained their MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in 2004, with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship. Niraj'sundergraduate degree was a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, which they completed in 1996.
