Dan Takano

Dan Takano has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dan began their career as a Marketing Coordinator at the Portland Trail Blazers, where they worked from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they ventured into entrepreneurship and owned a Property Investment Company and Outdoor Media, running both businesses from 1996 to 2004. In 2005, Dan transitioned to the role of an Outside Sales Representative at Alaska Distributors for two years. Dan then worked as a Mental Health Specialist - Case Manager at West Seattle Psychiatric Hospital from 2007 to 2008. Dan's experience also includes a role as a Shift Manager at the Washington State Department of Corrections in 2008. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as an Insurance Producer at Combined Insurance Company. Subsequently, they joined Symmetry Financial Group in 2014 as an Insurance Producer. In the same year, they moved to Transamerica Insurance Group, where they served as an Insurance Producer & Business Analyst until 2015. Currently, Dan works as a Business Relations Manager at Aquavit Pharmaceuticals, Inc, starting in 2015. In this position, they collaborate with doctors and business professionals to establish business and rapport, creates additional marketing streams and awareness through trade shows and conventions, and promotes Aquagold through demonstrations and keynote speeches.

Dan Takano has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Seattle Pacific University. In addition, they obtained certifications from the Washington State Department of Corrections Academy in 2009 and became a Licensed Insurance Producer through the Washington State Office of Insurance Commissioners in January 2010.
