Amanda Lai

Amanda Lai, PhD PE, currently serves as Senior Research Manager at Aquaya, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Amanda worked as an Engineer / Microbiologist at the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project from May 2023 to February 2024 and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health from July 2021 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes a role as Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2017 to May 2021, Wastewater Engineer at Kleinfelder from July 2015 to May 2017, and Civil Engineer at Parsons from April 2012 to May 2015. Amanda earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from UCLA.
