Nestor Ortiz

Nestor Ortiz is a hydraulic engineer with extensive experience in the water and sewage sector, currently employed at Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá since March 2023. Prior roles include hydraulic engineer at the same company from February 2022 to January 2023 and a brief tenure as an associate professor at Universidad Católica de Colombia in early 2022, where Nestor Ortiz focused on designing in PCI. Additional experience includes positions as project engineer at WSP en Colombia and Gestión Total Corporativa, and hydraulic engineer at BAC Engineering Consultancy Group and Universidad de Los Andes as a research assistant. Nestor Ortiz holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes and a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada.
