Giovanni Castillo

Giovanni Castillo is an accomplished Innovation Architect at Aquent, specializing in technology-driven innovation for enterprise clients with a focus on AI-powered solutions and metaverse experiences since June 2022. Prior to this role, Giovanni served as the Founding Director of the Advanced Media Lab and Assistant Professor of Practice at Northern Arizona University from January 2014 to July 2022. Giovanni's earlier experience includes serving as Principal Designer at DesignForm Studio, where multi-disciplinary design solutions for private and commercial clients were created, and as an architectural designer at Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects LLP, focusing on major commercial projects. Giovanni began a career in design as a multimedia specialist at NASA Ames Research, leading a team to produce interactive and multimedia projects. Giovanni holds a Master’s in Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and multiple degrees in Fine Art from various prestigious institutions.
