Matteo Masotti currently serves as the Head of Data Governance Strategy and Operational Intelligence at Aquila Clean Energy EMEA since February 2024. Prior to this role, Matteo spent nearly 14 years at Enel, ascending through various positions including Head of Data Competence Center and Data Product Manager within the Global Trading Digital Hub, where leadership focused on data lifecycle management and machine learning projects for Thermal Generation. Previous experience includes research in satellite meteorology and numerical weather models at Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico - RSE SpA, along with early roles as a meteorological forecaster with Arpae Emilia-Romagna. Matteo holds multiple degrees including a Master's in Computer Science and a Master's in Applied Meteorology, complemented by a Master Certificate in IT Strategic Management from 24ORE Business School.
