Daniel Metzger

Daniel Metzger is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in energy transition and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Manager at Aquila Capital since June 2019, Daniel has progressed through various roles including Investment Manager and Associate within the Partnerships and Portfolio Management sector. Prior experience includes audit and advisory work at ECOVIS Hanseatische Mittelstands Treuhand and a dual study program in Business Informatics at ILLE Papier-Service GmbH. Daniel is pursuing a Doctorate in Ship Finance and Maritime Policy at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg and HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration, complemented by a Master’s degree in Global Management and Governance from the same institution. A foundational Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics was obtained from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
