Ainsley Platt

Ainsley Platt is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Writing Mentor at the UA College of Communication & Information Sciences Writing Center and as a Reporting Intern for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Previous roles include Freelance Reporter for The Alabama Daily News, Staff Writer for On The Quad, and News Editor for The Crimson White, where Ainsley managed multiple reporters and oversaw significant news coverage. Ainsley's background also includes a Writing and Group Marketing Internship at athenahealth and summer internship experience at York Capital Trust. Ainsley Platt is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in News Media and a minor in Political Science from the University of Alabama, set to graduate in December 2023.
