Craig Manson

Craig Manson is an experienced Senior Project Engineer specializing in architecture and planning at Ara Institute of Canterbury since October 2016. In this role, Craig coordinates with architects and civil/structural engineers to design customized interior layouts for IT purposes, including server rooms and AV-equipped teaching spaces. Responsibilities include procuring IT hardware, auditing, managing vendor performance, and deploying IT infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity. Prior to this, Craig served as ICT Infrastructure Manager at CPIT from May 2005 to October 2016, where notable achievements included directing the implementation of the institute’s first wireless network and developing a user account creation system. Craig holds a Diploma in Business Computing from Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology, obtained between 1990 and 1992.
